The Gold Industry Group will launch Perth's new virtual gold tourism trail for Chinese visitors on Friday 30 November 2018.

Using the free Heart of Gold Australia app, Chinese visitors, locals, students and families will be able to experience Perth’s #heartofgold Discovery Trail in Mandarin.

Gold Industry Group Chairman and Perth Mint Chief Executive Officer Richard Hayes with be joined by special guest Minister for Mines and Petroleum the Hon. Bill Johnston MLA to officially open Perth’s #heartofgold Discovery Trail in Mandarin at 10am in Elizabeth Quay.

Invited guests will join the first exclusive guided walk, from the Golden Eagle nugget replica in Elizabeth Quay to The Perth Mint, to explore Perth’s #heartofgold Discovery Trail via the free Heart of Gold Australia app. At the end of the trail, attendees will be treated to a complimentary live gold pour demonstration, courtesy of The Perth Mint.
