Join us in celebrating Western Australia’s cultural diversity at Netball WA’s annual Multicultural Carnival on 30 August.

The one-day event promotes participation and engagement of players from a wide variety of ethnicity to foster their netball skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

The Multicultural Carnival requires five participants with one or more parents born overseas or to identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to be on court at all times.

First held in 2015, the Multicultural Carnival saw over 200 participants from 17 different teams compete in the inaugural event, which has since grown significantly. Last year, the Multicultural Carnival hosted more than 800 participants, 80 teams representing over 60 different cultural backgrounds.
