The Gold Industry Group's annual Great Diversity Debate will return at The Perth Mint on Friday 12 November in conjunction with WIMWA.
Since the GIG’s inaugural event in 2016, the debate has quickly become one of the most influential diversity events on Australia’s mining calendar.
The annual debate dissects and promotes diversity, challenges perceptions and opens new doors in its unique and thought-provoking format.
This year, the debate will explore the topic:
"Working from home – a golden opportunity or a cage with gold bars?”
GIG Chairperson and Gold Fields VP Legal and Compliance Kelly Carter, will again adjudicate the debate, which will feature an esteemed line up of speakers, including:
Jeff Dang - Principal Mining Engineer, Bellevue Gold Limited
Holly Keenan - Mining Systems, Standards and Technology Specialist, AngloGold Ashanti Australia
Cliff McKinley - Manager People and Culture, Evolution Mining
Lisa Rowden - Manager Human Resources, Risk and Sustainability, Ramelius Resources
Due to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation across the nation, the event will only be held in Perth this year.
