Evolution Mining is backing the nation’s premier Indigenous cultural festival, the annual 1770 Cultural Connections Immersion Festival, from 2-3 October.

Evolution’s Mt Rawdon Operation recently extended its partnership with the event organisers, the Gidarjil Development Corporation, for three more years to ensure the event's ongoing success after supporting the inaugural festival last year in the town of 1770, which attracted more than 1600 people over two days.

The 1770 Cultural Connections Festival is a celebration of Aboriginal Culture and showcasing it loud, proud, and strong.

It is a FREE festival for all to come and see the cultural heritage and practices of our First Nations people whilst celebrating together.
