In its 11th year, Heritage Perth Weekend 2021 is an event that celebrates Perth City’s natural, cultural and built heritage.
Unearth Western Australia’s gold mining history with us on Family Friday 16 April. Visit us in Elizabeth Quay to get snapped with the famous Golden Eagle Nugget replica in our photo booth before embarking on the Perth Heart of Gold Discovery Trail via the free Heart of Gold Australia app.
The self-guided walking trail will take you on an interactive gold journey exploring 11 locations through Perth City. Travel through time from the gold mines of today to the nation’s biggest gold rushes as you delve into augmented reality games, watch exclusive videos, explore fun widgets and uncover audiovisual stories.
Families can enjoy a number of free fun-filled activities and receive fabulous golden giveaways! Trailblazers will receive a #heartofgold commemorative medallion and a bonus gold gift bag on this day only when they complete the trail at the historic Perth Mint.
