The Gold Industry Group Western Australian Netball League (GIG WANL) 2020 season came to a thrilling end on Friday 16 October at the Gold Netball Centre in front of a full-capacity crowd.
Following the matches, all winners, officials and umpires received commemorative gold medallions for their outstanding achievements and contributions, courtesy of Gold Industry Group member The Perth Mint.
The Gold Industry Group (GIG) collaborated with Gold Fields, LIVIN, Australian Earth Science Education and Netball WA, to bring viewers a glimpse of the industry’s commitment to community to life through a captivating new TV advertisement and connecting video stories.
The 15 second and 30 second That’s Gold television commercials are airing on Australia’s Channel 9 throughout September.
The Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League (GIG WANL) celebrated the best performers for the season on Saturday night, with the presentation of the prestigious 2019 Jill McIntosh Medal.
The Gold Industry Group joined coaches, players, administrators, umpires, officials and volunteers from across the State on Saturday evening, as the votes were counted from every 2019 GIG WANL game to crown Donnell Wallam as this year’s medallist.
