Foodbank Kalgoorlie has formed a new partnership with KCGM, Saracen Mineral Holdings and Northern Star Resources, to support the local community in response to COVID-19.
KCGM, Northern Star and Saracen workers will also participate in volunteering opportunities at Foodbank Kalgoorlie once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted, providing hunger relief to those who are most vulnerable in the Goldfields region.
Foodbank WA is one of three essential Western Australian community organisations to receive part of the $9.1 million in funding from WA resources companies, as part of the COVID-19 Community Support Initiative set up by the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia.
