For the first time, the Gold Industry Group's annual Women in Gold Great Diversity Debate travelled to Sydney, to explore whether a diversity debate that begins and ends with gender is doomed to fail.
Panellists Bob Fulker, Kerry Stevenson, Janie Simpson and Lyndsay Potts turned it up, with a strongly contested showdown, at the second of three debates in the 2019 National Tour - with Perth held the previous week and Melbourne to be held the following day.
Made possible by sponsors Evolution Mining, ABC Refinery and Newmont Goldcorp Australia, the enlightening discussion was held in front of more than 150 guests on Thursday 14 November at the Untied Rooftop Bar.
