This year, with your support, Westgold’s Managing Director Wayne Bramwell wants to showcase the resource sector's commitment to the broader community.
Westgold was the 6th largest fundraiser last year, with the legal and construction fraternity raising more funds than us.
Homelessness is a growing problem across Australia that affects all stratas of society. Vinnies has been at the forefront of raising funds to address this issue with the CEO Sleepout an annual and large fundraising initiative undertaken across Australia.

About Vinnes CEO Sleepout
Since its inception in Sydney 17 years ago, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout has raised over $80 million to fund Vinnies' homelessness services across Australia.
In Western Australia, Vinnies are aiming to reach (or exceed!) our fundraising goal of $850,000. If achieved, Western Australia's business and community leaders will have raised more than $10.8 million towards ending homelessness since the first Sleepout in WA.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a unique way for business and community leaders to actively combat the issue of homelessness by raising funds and awareness, sleeping outside for a night in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.
The advocacy and fundraising efforts of participants, their businesses, and the support of partners is crucial to the success of the event. In 2022, 1,471 business leaders raised over $9.6 million nationally to support Vinnies' work in combatting homelessness. In WA, the figure was an impressive $900,622.
The money raised in 2023 will assist with the funding and development of Vinnies' existing services right here in WA, and will allow Vinnies to continue providing our programs to assist and advocate for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
There has never been a more important time to help someone find somewhere safe to sleep.
