KCGM’s residential workforce is set to grow, with recruitment processes commencing for a number of new, permanent residential positions.
With opportunities for experienced Truck, Shovel and Ancillary operators, these critical roles will join KCGM’s iconic Fimiston Open Pit (Super Pit) operation in the Western Australian Goldfields region.
KCGM General Manager Kous Kirsten said these positions will support both current and future business objectives, including sustainable growth and creating shared value opportunities for the local community.
“This is an exciting step for the new KCGM, as we look to grow our people and operations, and continue to deliver benefits for the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community.
“Welcoming new members to the KCGM team will enable us to safely capitalise on growth opportunities, positioning KCGM as an industry-leader in the Goldfields,” said Mr Kirsten.
With recruitment targeted at local, State and interstate markets, Mr Kirsten said these positions would provide opportunities for local people, and may entice others to relocate to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
“KCGM has a long history in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and our residential workforce is part of the local community,” he continued.
“We have a lot to offer people wanting to develop their careers on a family-friendly roster, five minutes from home.
“We are looking for highly-motivated, experienced people to join our dynamic team and experience the exciting future that awaits at KCGM,” Mr Kirsten concluded.
