The 9th annual Netball WA Multicultural Carnival took place at the Gold Netball Centre, welcoming 91 teams from across the state.
Supported by the Gold Industry Group, these teams represented 25 schools, engaging in a total of 251 games across 15 divisions across four age groups.
The event, held over a single day, continued its tradition of celebrating cultural diversity while providing a supportive platform for participants to enhance their netball skills.
The #heartogold area was a bustling centre of activity, where players had their faces painted in gold. Additionally, they took part in the Gold Education Skills Station to learn more about the industry and its place in Australian history.
The Gold Industry Group proudly supported the event for the sixth consecutive year, thanks to gold members like Gold Fields, Northern Star Resources Limited, AngloGold Ashanti Australia, Gold Road Resources, Ramelius Resources, and The Perth Mint.
The Netball WA Multicultural Carnival continues to serve as an example of how sports can bring communities together and provide young athletes with opportunities to grow and develop. It remains a celebration of the diverse cultures that contribute to Western Australia's rich tapestry, reminding us that unity can be found in playing together.
