Gold Class Session
The Gold Industry Group celebrated the vital contribution of its Gold Class Facilitators in inspiring the future industry leaders of Australia’s gold industry through the delivery of Gold Class Sessions at its annual Gold Class Awards.
The Gold Class Awards were presented at the GIG’s Industry Sundowner on 15 June.
This Term marks two years since the Gold Industry Group expanded its gold education program across Australia, changing perceptions and inspiring tens of thousands of students about Australia’s gold industry in more than 1,200 primary and secondary schools through free, exclusive Gold Resources Kits and dynamic, STEM-based Gold Class Sessions.
The Gold Industry Group (GIG) showcased the diverse range of jobs and career pathways in Australia’s gold industry to 10 000 students and the general public at the 2021 Perth SkillsWest Career Expo in August.
The GIG’s booth featured its initiatives centred around developing talent pathways and education engaging attendees through the Gold Jobs challenge to guide them in their career journey
