Evolution Mining celebrates 20 years in Mt Rawdon

Since 2001, the Mount Rawdon gold mine has produced over 59 tonnes of gold, milled over 65 metric tonnes of ore, and mined over 220 metric tonnes of material.

The mine site started out with an 8-year mine life and through the hard work of many, it has upheld its successful operation well past that expected duration.

Gold Fields, a Western Australian gold mining company, donated a golden gift to support the State’s world-famous Telethon to ensure a better life for children now and in the future.

The 99.9% pure 1kg gold bar, valued at approximately AUD $85,000, was the company’s second gold bullion donation to the Channel 7 Telethon Trust.
