Farewells
Alongside these appointments, we farewell two valued Directors.
We extend our sincere thanks to Andrea Maxey, Vice President, Investor Relations, Communication and ESG at AngloGold Ashanti Australia, who has concluded seven years of dedicated service on the Board. Andrea has been a steadfast advocate for the Gold Industry Group and a passionate supporter of our community and education programs. Her leadership, global perspective and commitment have left a lasting legacy, and we are grateful for her significant contribution.
We also acknowledge Julie Jones, who joined the Board in 2023 while serving as General Counsel and Joint Company Secretary of Gold Road Resources. During her tenure, Julie brought expertise in mining law, governance and strategic risk, and was a strong advocate for education, inclusion and creating pathways for women and young people within the gold industry. We thank Julie for her insights and commitment during her time on the Board.
