Gold Fields again donated a 99.9% pure one-kilogram gold bar for auction at the Telethon Ball held on 16 October, and the precious donation prompted vigorous bidding. Valued at approximately $80,000 the bar was eventually auctioned off for $135,000.

Ramelius Resources have recently provided support to the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Western Australia (RFDSWA) to purchase Hamilton T1 Ventilators that have equipped a fleet of 18 aircraft to provide the best respiratory support to patients.
RFDSWA Head of Medical Robert Radici said the Hamilton Ventilator is a significant piece of equipment and provides the same functionality as a ventilator you’d find in a hospital.

This year’s 30th Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum was hailed one of the biggest yet, attracting more than 2500 delegates to hear mining’s growth stories in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, despite having no overseas visitors for the second year running.
Attendance could have been greater at the nation’s largest mining forum with Western Australia having no event restrictions, however due to COVID-19 lockdowns over east preventing many from traveling to the State, several companies presented virtually as thousands streamed the event online.
